Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor throughout his career. He is most famous for his roles was in "Law & the Special Victims Unit". While in college Christopher Meloni has always been fascinated by the world of acting. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active in film and TV but his performances on small screens are what brought him much fame. There is no doubt that he has been able grab the attention of viewers by playing characters on both side of the law. His first television project, he played a serial murderer. In later projects, he was the role of an NYPD investigator. The small screen performances of his were rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. One of his most striking facial features is thought to be his distinctive blue eyes, which are considered to be his trademark. They helped in portraying the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour. People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured his face.
